I really like how you made the tree look. It's almost as if it has a full cotton ball or cloud on it. It also makes the tree more dramatic, and makes it more fun to look at. I think that you did the forced perspective perfectly.
The concept behind this photo is compelling and had it been a real photograph where the clouds had not been pasted on the tree it could have been a real standout in the class. Personally I would have maybe feathered the edges of the clouds, lowered its opacity, and mask out the parts of the cloud covering branches so it could appear like its coming from behind the tree. It is very beautiful but the apparent photo manipulation in a way subtracts from the final product.

I would've changed the opacity to make them look a little clearer and help them look more like real clouds and like they belong in the picture.

ReplyDeleteI really like this one but the longer I look at it the less realistic it seems. The edges could have been photoshopped better but it is a cool idea.
