Online Art Generator
Zfrank Flowers
Zfrank Flowers was my favorite online art generator for the image I was trying to create. Hopefully it is visible that I was trying to create a flower. This generator is specifically made to create flowers by using different flower shapes. It is up to you to create the flower from your imagination. I know it sounds like you don't have a lot freedom with this generator, but you do. You decide how many flower petals there should be, the type of flower petals that should be used, how many layers of flowers you want, the direction you want the flower petals to go in, and more. I think this was the easiest generator,as well, mostly because I was trying to create flower images.
Spirograph
This generator was a little difficult to use because it seemed older so it had a lot of delays. At the same time the delays could be due to my computer but I do not know exactly. Other than the delays the online generator was pretty easy to figure out how to use. The setting are controlled by scrolling different bars at certain locations. With this generator you can get many different and unique designs depending on how you chose to control your settings. Over all I would recommended this generator and I think my flower turned out well with a unique design.
The Scribbler
I found this generator after going through a couple that I did not enjoy. So this was the first generator that I found enjoying to use. The reason I liked this generator was because you have the power to draw anything from simple to elaborate and watch it transform to an unusual drawing. As you can hopefully see I drew a flower then when I hit the button to scribble it turned into this spider web style flower. So no matter what you draw you will end up with this spider web look. You will be able to control how scribbly the image looks, the color, size, and randomness of the scribble lines. If you change the settings before hitting scribble, each time, you will never have two identical images.

Ying and Yang
For my Ying and Yang picture I decided to take a nontraditional route and use a cell phone to take the image. I chose to use a cell phone because I wanted the image to look like a selfie. For my picture I wanted to create an image that expressed the every day person that I am which is why I took a selfie and I wanted to show the side of me that only close friends and family know. Now i'm not saying i'm a cinderella princess for disney. What I am trying to show is how all my close friends and family call me a princess and show my love for Disney. I think the image turned out well.

Essay for Participation
For your essay, you are to write a few paragraphs about where you think Photography will be in 25 years. Who will have cameras? How will they work? What will people be taking pictures of? How will they share them with others?
I think in 25 years photography will take a very futuristic and modern aspect. I believe it will become holographs out of an arm band which will include all of our other important technology. By this I mean, instead of buying phones, cameras, and tablets we will just by one smart arm band. This arm band will give us access to almost all of our important technology. It will have phone, tablet, and camera capabilities then when we want a specific item we just press that selection. Once we got that selection it would show the holograph on our arm so we can use it. For example if I wanted a camera I would scroll through the menu of the band until I got to the camera item. I would select camera then have the holograph appear on my hand. Now I would be allowed to take pictures of whatever I want whenever I want. Then when I wanted to view the pictures they would also appear as a holograph. The picture would pop up from the band and show as a holographic 3D image.
I feel that almost everyone will have one of these arm bands just like everyone has a smart, today. So there will be multiple brands of this arm band after its initial release and it will keep expanding to become better. The people will get the best they can afford for their income just like we do today with our smart phones.
Also, the types of pictures people take today will stay the same way as they are today. If they didn't stay the same as today, I think photographs will become more abstract or random everyday items and things. I believe social media will still be alive in 25 years, obviously in another form, therefore that will still be where we share our photographs to everyone.

A camera in every pocket response
How do you feel the popularity of cell phones embedded with high-quality cameras has changed the nature of photography?
With cell phones, photography has become an act of pulling out your phone and snap a quick picture, an in action picture, or a selfie. Before photography consisted of setting up your picture by choosing the setting, subjects, and photography style you wanted to evoke. Now that has become a thing of the past with the help of cell phones. At the same time cell phones have also broaden our culture between areas. With cameras in our phones we are able to let people feel that they are with us at all time. We can take a quick picture of what we are doing at the time and share it with our friends and family. While doing research the biggest thing I read was the capability of being able to share a daily lives with others, and how remarkable that was. I, also, learned while reading how journalism has become more true due to the fact we can take quick shots of things and prove they are creditable. Instead of just making a statement, we have pictures to prove it.

DIY Follow Up
I constructed a artsy filter, also know as a color filter. Constructing the accessory was extremely easy, so I would have to rate it a 1 in difficulty. I used my accessory as a filter over my camera lens to add color to my photo. No, the accessory did not work like I thought it would. In the tutorial they made it look really easy to use the filter but when I actually tried to use it, there was a lot of trial and error. Two scenarios when I would use this accessory would be for portraits mostly or when taking pictures of other subjects.

conceptual photography
Done with Riana Clayton
A Creative Mess
Adventure Afterlife
Caffeine Fix
I Miss You
Me and Me
1) How would you rate the images you selected in terms of photographic quality (appropriate focus, good exposure, strong composition, etc.)In terms of appropriate focus, good exposure, and strong composition the images are done very well. The only image that's not truly in focus was meant to be out of focus making it appropriate.
2) Are there any photographic characteristics that seem to be more prevalent in this group of images? Examples might be "moody" lighting, image blurring, long shadows, etc.
Each of the pictures carry a meaning behind them that may not be obvious when observing the images first at hand. Each person who observes the images has a different meaning for them.
3) Are there any conceptual characteristics that stand out as more prevalent than others? Examples might be death motifs, supernatural events, sunlight, children, etc.
One of the many conceptual images out of the five would be the Afterlife one, being it is the most intriguing to look at containing supernatural ideas. The main way many people see the afterlife is as ghosts, spirits or figures in the dark, so it's open to many varied opinions.
4) Select 2 of the five images and briefly describe the story they tell.I Miss You- The story trying to be told is of a girl missing a loved one and feeling lost without that person with her in life.Caffeine Fix- The story trying to be told is that caffeine is more of a drug than just a drink, and that it's addicting.

Portrait Response
The Attributes of a successful portrait to me would be expression, posture, background, clothing, lighting, clarity, and composition. Now i'm not saying by just having these attributes in your image you'll make a perfect portrait. I'm saying having these attributes and making them work together will create a perfect picture. This picture above is not a successful photo because its just plain creepy. It's creepy because the lighting on the eyes is to dark, making them look hollow. The expression on the lady's face looks manaical. Her wrinkles make you want to turn away from the picture. Overall, the attributes in this photo do not work well together.
